Paulette Canney - Reflexologist in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Paulette Canney is a wife and mom of four active high school and college aged children as well as practitioner and owner of Soul Spa Ministry. A Council Bluffs native, she moved to Cedar Rapids in 1990 earned her BA in Business and Psychology from Coe College and married her college sweetie. After a few years in Florida and Illinois she returned to Eastern Iowa and earned a Masters in Pastoral Studies from St. Ambrose University and spent 20 years working in youth and family Ministry. While looking to help herself juggle and balance life’s challenges, she was called to serve in a new way, when she felt angels present and energy move in her first Healing Touch class.

Paulette attended the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy earning Advanced Practitioner in Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry, as well as National Certification in Clinical Aromatherapy. She opened Soul Spa in 2014 to continue her passion to serve families, with the goal of wellness for wholeness for each soul. In 2018 Paulette completed a 300-hour Reflexology program in Bloomfield, Iowa and National Certification for Foot Reflexology in 2021. Paulette utilizes mind-body techniques that are grounded in Scripture and tradition and designed to promote self-

healing for all ages and stages. Essential oils, meditation, and music provide a fragrant and relaxing atmosphere releasing tensions and toxins while increasing endorphins and oxygen flow. A sense of overall well-being helps balance the physical, emotional, mental & spiritual needs, helping the body return to homeostasis. Paulette shares her time between her private office and Prairiewood's Retreat and Spirituality Center in Hiawatha, Iowa.
